Spend the morning (8a-Noon) or afternoon (1p-5p) with Captain Chris Davy exploring the grassy flats of famous Steinhatchee, Fla. for scallops. In addition to scallops you will see all kinds of interesting aquatic wildlife.

Captain Chris has been fishing since he was a child and currently charters multiple locations in Florida as well as scalloping in the open season. He is very knowledgeable as well as entertaining!

Captain Chris’ boat will accommodate 5-6 people. Over 4 gets a bit crowded but, can be done. It’s recommended that you have your own equipment but, he has equipment for 4 in case it’s needed. He supplies fishing licenses, ice and water. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks as well as sunscreen and sunglasses. If possible, wear bright clothing so you can easily be seen in the water. Cleaning of scallops is not included but Capt Chris will direct you to some local cleaning establishments.
