Spend the day with Captain Chris Davy exploring the grassy flats of famous Steinhatchee, and Crystal River, Fla. for scallops. In addition to scallops you will see all kinds of interesting aquatic wildlife.
Captain Chris has been fishing since he was a child and currently charters multiple locations in Florida as well as scalloping in the open season. He is very knowledgeable as well as entertaining!
Captain Chris’ boat will accommodate up to 8 people. Over 6 gets a bit crowded but, can be done. It’s recommended that you have your own equipment but, he has some equipment in case it’s needed. He supplies fishing licenses for 4, ice and water. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks as well as sunscreen and sunglasses. If possible, wear bright clothing so you can easily be seen in the water. Cleaning of scallops is not included but Capt Chris will direct you to some local cleaning establishments if possible.
