Fished Yankee Town in West Central Florida with a friend and my fabulous Lady on an airboat. I’m getting closer to getting one. Fished dead low with what I would consider no water. Over 60 fish caught consisting of Reds, trout snapper and 2 nice whiting. Bait was simple shrimp on knocker rigs fishing hole to hole and some bait and wait.
Palm Coast trip on 1/02/21 was a bit tougher with the full moon still cranking lumens and strong winds. Once again using live shrimp with the catch consisting of some small fish, a black drum, 2 reds, and nice sheepshead on a 4 hour trip. The sheepshead bite should be good for while and they are good for filling a cooler once you get in em. Fiddlers are the bait for them but, they will eat shrimp too.
